STEMMIT is a WIDE RIDE but when will the fun STOP ?

So I am writing this to make sure many don’t miss out from the trend and benefits the most they can from Steemit whilst it lasts.

I joined steemit for about a week now, right in the hype of all these paid-for-sharing network, started from a few dollars to hundreds of dollars are being out for a post.

Yet the community has gone thrilled by the make-up video, reaching highest votes and $26k pay out.

It’s interesting to see how people react to this in the comment section.  Many applauded the owner’s ideas for bring up the makeup video, saying it contributes value to the community. Being optimistic that with value of Steemit going up, more people joining in and having more Steemit Power to up vote, many posts will eventually reached payout of $100000

My 2cents is if that actually happens, Steemit will be done.

- The make-up post is literally a YouTube video with about 200 words. This video got 1500 views on YouTube and it would need 5,200,000 views with view ads to justify the $26k payout.

- A random vid from YouTube probably bring the same “value” in content to this make-up videos. Steemit as stated awards people for their ideas/contributions but $20000 in 24hours for a makeup post or anything other contents available now on Steemit is just plainly illogical

- If this is sustainable, why people in TED talks not sharing their ideas here and making thousands, being paid out by Steemit. Then if Steemit reaches the value of YouTube or even replaces YouTube, would it be sustainable to payout $26000 for a video like this and many more, bearing in mind that ONE random vid from YouTube would probably “contribute” the same extent of  “value”.

- Everyone can just repost their videos from YouTube to Steemit and makes fortune. Should I tell nigahiha to join Steemit ?

Make it simple, Steemit pays out to contributors the $ amount as % of its value. When its value goes up, it start giving out more, thus attracting new people/ new investors and hence driving up the values. The vicious cycle goes on.

- We as investors/contributors of Steem/Steem Dollar, are actually the people who pay for these post. Therefore, the vicious cycle will stop when people realize that these posts should never worth this much and that many of us jumped into Steemit not because we deeply care so much about contribution and value of knowledge but speculating on the community paid-for-sharing.

- Will you be a part of the system that pays $100000 for a makeup or any video? If not, then probably when the first post reaches $100000 pay out, you should have realized that the fun is ending and all should ABANDON the train.

People are arguing about the future of Steemit and only future can tell. Scam may become reality if it is dragged long enough and enough people believe in it. Just like trading, against all intuition, it is still an uptrend when enough people are still rushing into it. And yes it is happening all day, everyday: people rushing in then rushing out. BUT You! You don’t go against the trend, trying to prove if you are right or wrong. You should board the train and enjoy the free ride, then perhaps from Steemit some of us will make enough money to be worry-free before it all ends

Which is not that difficult actually, 30 make up videos and boom there you have 1 million dollar worth.

I don’t have anything against the makeup video. I just use it as an example to easily convey the thought.

Thanks @weenis. And isn't it ironic if my post will later make a few grands ?
