Yes, I have definitely seen that Bystander Effect in my own life and when coming across others in need. We do not want to be first or take responsibility at times like that. Do you step over someone, or do you try to help them? As I said in my video - most will pass by. I did this myself just recently, and you can see it in my Wednesday Walk post this week. Could I help that man? I decided no.
You cannot fault people, you can only wait for the person who will help or get up and help yourself.
I had not heard of the mirror neuron phenomenon before. I probably don't have much of it. I often will leave a place rather than try to fit in :)
You can fit-in-fun ways 😎
Yep! I usually do and always did help them taking action from the first row no matter no one else has jumped first to help and show support. Probably, just by two reasons: Because I'm old enough already and I've seen so many things in my life. And second, because I've always been a reckless rebel and renegade who has never cared a damn what others may think of me when it comes to helping another person in need.
But yeah, probably my eventual help almost never was exactly financially or monetarily, simply, because I've always been a pauper hermit and realengo underdog myself too.
Obviously, that's also a very valid option and wise decision as long you are also a very conscious person. :)
Cheers!!
