Thank you @fitinfun, I respect the wisdom of my elders very much. I'm pretty open with my personal struggles and fight throughout life, and am now a hermit (in the physical word) searching for healing and wisdom. I do, very much so, try to give people the benefit of the doubt.
I enjoy studying psychology and personalities, so I kindly thank you for this analysis you've presented here. I have an insatiable appetite for knowledge and wisdom.
I found this to be a very intelligent breakdown on your theory of people. I hope I didn't strike you as an asshole. I certainly have the propensity to be one at times, perhaps because I am passionate ego driven at times maybe with my beliefs.
I think I can learn a great deal from you. Thank you @fitinfun
Seriously @futuremind your comments are blowing my mind. We're so very like-minded.
I enjoy studying psychology and personalities,
I LOVE learning about people. For that reason I was backpacking through middle east, russia, china. I've been in so many places all over the world. Learning how people think and how they differently react in similar situations is mindblowing.
Really loved your little chat with "hermit" @fitinfun :)
I'll see you around, maybe I'll even compose a nomadic song sometime and share it with you. I'll have to check into the style, I like to explore new things. 😎
¡Holy crap! and now you two talking about hermits and nomadic (in my case 'realengos')dogs, you have just invoked my ascetic presence here. ¿eh? ¿How cute is that? :)
Very wise tips those you've just shared here through your audiovisual sample @fitinfun. In my opinion, a great reflection in your own live voice that was certainly needed in the context of this post made by @crypto.piotr, and the inquirings made by @futuremind and other commentators along this post. ¡My obeisances! :)
However, I would like to share also an additional concept to all of you here as to expand and comprehend a bit further the cautious & skeptic position of Sharon on her video as also address the few doubts shown by @futuremind a few comments above.
It is called "The Bystander Effect" A curious syndrome and interesting phenomena that mostly have place when a 'victim' is surrounded by a crowd or group rather than a single bystander. And where the usual social Rule Of The Game is: "Don't get involved if you are afraid to stand out from the crowd to take action to help someone if no one else does"
Unless, of course, that you already have developed a pretty healthy and brawny set of Mirror Neurons within your 'Human' system. };)
My apologies in advance if my nosy intervention and interruption may seem improper or not relevant. But I would say it was all your fault by mentioning hermit & nomadic so many times along this post.
Yes, I have definitely seen that Bystander Effect in my own life and when coming across others in need. We do not want to be first or take responsibility at times like that. Do you step over someone, or do you try to help them? As I said in my video - most will pass by. I did this myself just recently, and you can see it in my Wednesday Walk post this week. Could I help that man? I decided no.
You cannot fault people, you can only wait for the person who will help or get up and help yourself.
I had not heard of the mirror neuron phenomenon before. I probably don't have much of it. I often will leave a place rather than try to fit in :)
Do you step over someone, or do you try to help them?
Yep! I usually do and always did help them taking action from the first row no matter no one else has jumped first to help and show support. Probably, just by two reasons: Because I'm old enough already and I've seen so many things in my life. And second, because I've always been a reckless rebel and renegade who has never cared a damn what others may think of me when it comes to helping another person in need.
But yeah, probably my eventual help almost never was exactly financially or monetarily, simply, because I've always been a pauper hermit and realengo underdog myself too.
You cannot fault people, you can only wait for the person who will help or get up and help yourself.
Obviously, that's also a very valid option and wise decision as long you are also a very conscious person. :)
Thank you for this interpretation and links. During a long lived addiction to drugs and alcohol, I lived on the streets on and off for 10 years. Something I enjoy doing now, when I have the resources, is going out and helping homeless individuals, because I know very well this phenomenon described in the video, and really psychology can complicate things when we try to explain why people behave in certain manners. I call it cowardice in most applications. 90 percent of those people want to help, but they are afraid to be judged by others. I help people in need, whether the crowd gives me a funny look or not, and I could really care less what the crowd thinks of me, because I already know, most people are suffering from this induced/programmed state. Humans are herd animals right? We (collectively) will do what everyone else does.
It's easy to read books and internet links to understand these concepts, it's different when you've lived these concepts. (And I'm not assuming you are someone who hasn't, this is more a generalized statement) I've lived as someone people saluted, and I've lived as someone people spit on.
I still need to read this mirror neuron article a bit more thoroughly. Thank you, It's much appreciated.
I've written several posts before about this subject in more depth. A few in english touching also another topics not exactly related to what has been written here by @crypto.piotr and a couple more in spanish specifically talking about the mirror neurons in greater detail.
I don't know if you also speak or understand spanish @futuremind. But if you do, I could try to find within the abyssal depths of my blog those posts specifically for you if you like. :)
On other hand, I see that you are a musician. Still not sure if you are also composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist. But if you are any of these, maybe you would like to take a peep on this post where I'm launching a 'new format' musical contest. Who knows, perhaps it's something thrown right on your alley. Hahahaha
We are not the authorities and have no time or way to vet these people ourselves. The fact that spy networks can find them in no warm fuzzy for me personally.

You're welcome. I'm a hermit myself, but a nomadic one. Just be careful in this place because many are not who they seem to be.
Will do @fitinfun 👌
I'll see you around, maybe I'll even compose a nomadic song sometime and share it with you. I'll have to check into the style, I like to explore new things. 😎
That's an interesting idea. I do not listen to much music. I'm trying to focus!

dear @fitinfun
I kind of do understand your reasons, but ...
particulary in steem - people are not as anonymous as we like to believe. We really are not. surely not for any real authorities out there.
Just sayin` :)
Cheers
Piotr
