I joined the steemit community on January of this year when my partner told me about it and encouraged me to give it a try. Looking back, I am so glad I did listen to him because not only do I have the chance to earn extra bucks but this is also an opportunity for me to share my thoughts and inspire some people (I hope). This is also a dream come true for me to blog and to share my passion for food, travel and photography. I'm no pro at any of these but hey, it's the passion that counts right?
Okay, fast forward to almost 2 months after joining, I withdrawn the sbd's I started to set aside eversince (some went to steem power 💪) to maybe buy myself something or add it on my online business. I had withdrawn around 4 SBD (worth around 550 Php at that time) but l didn't know what to do with it. When I found out that my friends' were getting married and I needed to go home, that's when it finally hit me. It was about time I get a new tattoo! I started to save up again so I can add the money to the first withdrawal. I was not able to withdraw again though, since the worth of SBD now is not that much.
the sketch before the real deal
One of the highlights of my going home to our province last week was the wedding but getting a new tattoo came second in place. My brother-in-law recommended 'Dunde'(not sure if I got it right), the tattoo artist, to me as he got his tattoo from him last year. I asked him about the artist because his tattoo looks amazing and neat.
It was my first time to get a tattoo with the use of needles. I got my first tattoo in Buscalan Village (Apo Whang-od's place) at Kalinga, Mountain Province. I was a bit scared not knowing what to expect. As it turned out, a heartbreak was way, way much worse than getting a tattoo.lol. I was just lucky that Dunde was a gentle and a wonderful tattoo artist.
almost done
'wrapping it up'
the tattoo artist and the tattoo lover
The tattoo session lasted for an hour. Dunde was very gentle that there were even instances that I got sleepy.lol
Finally!
my one day old tattoo
I've always wanted another tattoo and with the arrival of my baby last year and steemit this year, I told myself it was high time I really get another one. The tattoo design is for wishes that had come true and for wishes that I'll be working out to come true. All in good time.❤
Thank you for dropping by.
All the best! {always}

P.S. For those who are in Negros and wants to get inked, you can check out Dunde in Facebook. He's name is Wilfredo Skip Sanctuaryo Jr. and he's from Sagay City. He does his tattoo sessions normally in Sagay and in Bacolod 😊
Congratulations!

Can I ask how you withdraw? 😅 BTW I like your tattoo! I want to have one too but I'm afraid it would be difficult for me to work abroad :(
Thank you @domdae. Is it really hard to work abroad when you've got tattoos? 😔 I'm not closing my door yet to working abroad. :( I had withdrawn thru blocktrades and coins.ph but all thru out the process, I had been referring to a tutorial. Here: How to Withdraw Steem Dollars maybe you can check it out and follow the steps. Hope this helps :)
Slr, my sis is an OFW and she told me that most of the companies doesn't accept people that has tattoos, making it hard to work abroad. But I think that depends on your position. Thank you for the tip about the withdrawal thing! :)
I see. Thank you for the heads up. 😊 Hope it doesn't apply to all. I'm still hoping to work abroad someday.
Yes, pick up the best agency that suits you. Don't go to dangerous places please, I don't want to see your face on Facebook videos being mistreated by her boss.
Nice tattoo...you're such a brave!👏 Am scared of the needle 😨 by the way, where are you in negros? I'm from sagay city.
Hi @hazelicious. I may just be lucky not to be scared of needles. 😊 I'm from Valladolid. What a small world for us. But oh, Dunde is from Sagay. Urgh. Forgot to mention it in my blog. Will edit and mention he's from there.
Nice tattoo!
Thank you @themanualbot. Thank you for dropping by as well. 😊
