Hey, Steemians and new people who joined us today!!
This is Felipe, wishing you a very happy weekend full of happines and lots of posts in our dear @Steemit community.
This has been a very interesting week for me and I'm gonna tell you why.
A couple of weeks ago I started a seminar in order to get graduated as Industrial Engineer and all of the teachers whom I'm studying have taught me some valuable unexpected lessons - lessons that I'll be sharing with you in my next posts.
Besides the contents about entrepreneurship and business management I'm studying, they remembered me the value of perseverance and the achievements I've reached through it, and let me say that I'm truly proud of embracing perseverance as one of the engines in my existence.
For me, perseverance reminds me how I've been fighting to achieve the goals I've set up for myself. It reminds me the value of the tears I've shed when I feel I'm about to give up, the huge level of resilience I've accumulated till now thanks to adversities I've had to face and the delicious fruits I've harvested thanks to my effort and the support of people who love me.
I picture perseverance as a little voice standing in your shoulder telling you some encouraging words every time you need to hear them.
That little voice repeating you: "DON'T GIVE THE FUCK UP" "YOU'RE ALMOST THERE" "YOU CAN DO IT, BITCH"
What a rude can be perseverance with me, but it has worked!
This reminder comes from an interesting lesson that should be in our minds every single time we're about to start something or when we want to get something we wish a lot.
Have you ever heard about Ford T?
For those people who doesn't know about it, Ford T was the first car ever created.
This car saw the daylight in 1908 and from this time until 1927 the company produced 15 million units.
Henry Ford never imagined how far he would arrive if he hadn't been perseverant and constant with his idea of "giving a car to the people".
Do you know why this car is called "Ford T"?
If you count the letters in the alphabet, the letter T is the number 20 from up to down in this list.
It means that he failed NINETEEN TIMES before he could finish the model that finally was able to work.
If he hadn't listened to that little voice in his shoulder saying: "you're about to make it", if he had declined to keep working on it inspite of having spent lots of money in so many tests and models that failed, he wouldn't be renowned as the inventor of car and the Ford production model and hadn't been capable to enjoy the fruits of his efforts watching another person making his dream come true.
I invite you, my dear Steemians, to be perseverant in what you want to achieve. If you have a goal, embrace perseverance and you'll see you're never gonna be alone 'cause it will help you reach your goals and dreams, and the most important of all this:
Trust yourself and keep walking forward to your dreams!
I hope you've enjoyed reading this post, feel free to share it with your followers for our Steemit community get encouraged to go along with perserverance in life and this new way of life called Steemit.
with a bit of resolution, and a good map in hand, we can get anywhere we want to be
