The meaning of SIR you always address people is SLAVE I REMAIN. Stop addressing people like that

I saw a post that is very useful for everybody. It worth sharing but you people do not knownthe meaning of the word SIR they always say.

Umm, no. Sir is not an acronym for ‘Slave I Remain’. It is derived from Middle French honorific title ‘sire’.

This title is also given as title of honour of a knight, so I highly doubt that it means ‘Slave I remain’. It is a respectful form of address by mid-14 century.
