Do we have any interests aside from what is going on in the cryptocurrency market!?

Sure as hell feels like there is nothing else to talk/see on Steemit other than speculation about the Bitcoin hard fork and its effects on the market. Pretty much everyone is saying the same thing, let's just wait it out and buy now when everything is cheap. While we do that, could we perhaps talk about something else? I am fucking bored.

What interests you? What have you been up to today? Is anyone else freakishly excited about the new Game Of Thrones season which is about to start in less than 12 hours!?!? I got lucky and I have the day off tomorrow so I can watch the first episode as soon as it airs approximately 4am in Finland. I need someone to keep me up until that! Actually I don't, I'm a night owl.

ps. It's totally fine if you came here just to look at my tiny boobs in a fancy bra.

Sort:

What if you posted your regular photos and said what you had to say for the day...

But then also talked about Bitcoin and the crypto markets in general?

That would be insta-m00n for STEEM and would bring all the crypto nerds to your blog!

What a great idea! It's not like I have to know anything about the cryptomarkets, as long as I remember to mention in the end that I'm not a financial expert, these are just my opinions and everyone should do their own research and make decisions based on that.

Now I'm starting to wonder the same thing. Aside from your blog, which I'm thankful for its popularity and thus higher up in my Trending feed, it seems like everyone's talking about crypto, blockchain, and anarchy-related topics. Which is all fine and good, given the context, but it does make me wonder whether a health or education-related blog would get upvotes at all.

Maybe I should try setting up a second account and start posting my thoughts on my other interests and see where that goes. I'm glad to see you're doing pretty well with your blog. :)

Have a good one!

It sounds a bit lame but I really think you should post about things that really interest you. I also think this community will grow more and more and have people with a lot more interests other than crypto etc.

Thank you for your nice comment :)

I'd say the major reason why crypto articles are so popular is because if you're part of steemit, you know and care about them. This means that posting about cryptos instantly gives you one of the largest audiences on the platform since it's a common interest of everyone.

If you go to places like YouTube or Facebook, crypto talk doesn't do so well since most people don't understand or even care about it.

I've personally discovered quite a few helpful tips and gained insight from some of the well written articles. However, there are a ton of "OMG OMG How low will Bitcoin go today" articles, that are just bullshit that we don't need here. I personally don't give a damn on the day to day of bitcoin or any crypto. I'm only interested in the long term viability of a crypto.

Here's a good way to look at short vs long term thinking: A lady takes her dog for a walk. The dog is zipping left and right and forward and back, sniffing here, running there, chasing a squirrel there, etc.

Tracking every motion the dog does is like looking at short term price volatility, but if you zoomed out, you'll see the dog stays within 40 feet of his master, and follows her as she walks SW at an average pace of 5 mph. The average pace of the walker will tell you where the dog will end up.

The moral of the story is, don't watch the dog, watch the master.

lol I need quick recap of all previous seasons, btw u look stunnin :)

You're running out of time! xD

I forgot what you wrote, I was distracted 😂😂😂

Haha, that's alright!

😂💖

Your nipple interest me: No nipple, no nickel!

My nipples say sorry for hiding from you!

Thank you for addressing the steemit bias towards financial topics! I am also straining to find other content here. My interests are varied but "Game of Thones" isn't one of them -- yet.

You're a beautiful woman who has intelligent observations to make and my upvote will be cast when it's most effective (about 20 - 30 minutes after publication).

Cheers,
Stefan

As long as you have some other interests other than altcoins. Thanks for being honest about upvoting when it's the most beneficial to you ;)

Hey sweetie

I was just thinking maybe i'm the only one getting pretty bored of Bitcoin, SegWit and Steemit price dipping. Everyone seems to be saying same thing except you that got me thinking "i need to be awake all day to catch up on a interesting show this night aired on a national TV in my country." And maybe we could chat all night discord or steemitchat

the combination of those pictures with the text is just awesome, I feel you. If we are ever close to each other, let's do a shooting ;-)

Very nicely related to each other, right? ;D I'm really hesitant on letting anyone shoot me but I think I'd make an exception for you! :D

nice, if you ever come to germany or bali, tell me.

I love Berlin in the summertime so I wish to go there some time again! :)

I've been thinking this since I joined! Most of the posts I see, especially in hot and trending are cryptocurrency related... or posts on how to get more followers and upvotes or how to game the steemit system to make more money etc...

My interest is in creating original content to share so I also try to focus on finding original content creators on here.

Anyway.. Game of Thrones.. I. CAN'T. WAIT. OMG. I have work in the morning so I wont see it straight away, but I have waited so long for this new season I can wait a little longer. I LOVE how the last season ended.

Of course you have to have some of that in here but all day every day, it get's boring. I've only been here for two months and I'm already so done with the same posts over and over again.

Do you have as much trouble finding original and interesting people/content as I have?

I'm so sorry you have to work! Don't open ANY social media sites during your workday so you don't get any spoilers! I was thinking of watching the last few episodes again now and then starting the new season.

Oh yeah I totally get it, this community is underpinned and supported by a crypto-economy so naturally its full crypto enthousiasts, but yeah all day everyday is overkill.

I do struggle to find original and interesting content/people. There are some out there, but its still hard... and often I will find a post and I think i've found someone new and interesting and it turns out its just another account that is posting pictures they've found online, instead of creating their own content.

I'm on a social media blackout tomorrow so as not to get any accidental exposure to spoilers :) I'll probably watch the last episode from the previous season tomorrow night and then see if I can catch up on the new episode. Though its also tempting to wait until they've all aired and then watch the whole season in one sitting :)

No, I didn't come here to look at your tiny boobs... not to diminish them or anything; already seen them in previous posts.

Came here mostly in case you had something magnificently earthshattering and insightful to say about something other than Steemit, Bitcoin and the markets... don't have a "live" TV connection anymore so Game of Thrones will be a "binge watching" event when I can buy the whole season, at the end.

Have fun, though!

Ah, I'm far too impatient to wait for the whole season to air. Game of Thrones is the ONLY tv show I watch episode by episode. I have a live tv connection but I never really use it, I watch GOT from HBO.

beautiful picture ... photographer must be very experienced

Thank you. The photographer is also me, and I'm a total noob.

Some of us like to post about such ephemeral things like politics, philosophy and interpersonal skills. I have to wonder why cryptocurrencies trump all. Someone else has noted that the dominance of cryptocurrency articles can't be all that good for Steemit.

Hopefully, after August 1st, things will settle back down. You know, to earth.

Finally some great black and white pics :-)

Whiii, and I'll have some more coming up soon-ish!

Refreshing to see someone who hasn't succumbed to the "cover myself with piecemeal tattoos" syndrome.

It saddens me when I see it on women in excess, on the arms, upper chest, and elsewhere. Its like they rolled in a pile of samples after smearing glue all over their skin.

It ends up being a visual minefield of hasty choices, and tends to clash with anything they're wearing.

Oh I'm only getting started ;D But yeah, I don't think I'll ever be full of tattoos.

Well I really got stuck in the altcoins for a very long time. All this crypto depression and anxiety. I really needed something to refresh my mind and by looking your pictures, I think my mind got pretty refreshed.
Thanks for these lovely pictures @eveuncovered

I'm really glad I got to took your mind off of the depressing market :)

That last line is awesome, " It's totally fine if you came here just to look at my tiny boobs in a fancy bra." So real and so on the money. Before you got there, I was thinking it already. So witty and "classy risque, burlesque ." Wonderful post , for those who appreciate boldness and "sexy intelligence."

Came for the article, stayed for the pics. U r brilliant and I'm so glad you're here on steemit! 😘👌🏼

Thank you so much darling, you're always so sweet :)

Hi Eve
mostly here for the photography. especially the b/w shots.
interests, music beit listening, playing or creating it. sometimes dabble with the camera also. canon's..
a night-owl also it's more relaxing to get into hobbies or just general interests.
Also i've never seen game of thrones ;)

I'm here to imagine you spanking me with a boat paddle while you tell me to row harder. Either that, or watching you eat grapes while you clean lint from my belly button.

Well... I didn't just come here to look at your boobs... But I am rather fond of small breasts... ;)
I haven't watched any of Game Of Thrones, possibly due to snobbery but I'm not sure! I've read the books that have come out so far and loved them, so I don't want watch the TV series until I've finished the books. Having said that, it will take so long to watch all of the episodes now! I just don't like it when I have an image of the characters that I've developed in my mind, and then I watch a TV version of the book, and that image becomes replaced by the actor playing the part. I hate it when publishers use still images from the film as a cover for the book too, for the same reason... Does this make me strange..?
Agreed on the crytpo though - I've stopped reading it, and am trying to focus on finding the quality content that is here on steemit. Like your writing and photos, for example - respect for the lack of photoshop too, the quality is in the image, not the post-processing. I've found searching the tags is helpful - even though there is poor quality in every field, there's plenty of good stuff too. I've been enjoying some sci-fi writing and some poetry over the last few days...
Perhaps we should use the resteem function more..? Would that help promote the quality content..? Or is that getting to close to another geeky discussion of steemit's crypto foundations..? Gah! :-D

AH, I love a bit of snobbery when it comes to the matter of books over movies/tv! I watched the first season of GOT way back when, and loved it so much that I bought the first two books because I immediately wanted to know what happens next. But then I kind of watched the series and read the books at the same time so it all got a little too jumbled and I stopped reading the books. I'm thinking of waiting that the whole series airs and then I'm gonna start over with the books. From what I heard, the ending is different in the books, and I think it's a great idea. And it definitely does not make you strange that you hate when pictures of the movies is used in the cover of the books, I hate that too! It fucks up your own imagination about the characters.

Ah, my story's the reverse - my ex bought me the first couple of books as a surprise Christmas present one year, before the TV series began. So I've been avoiding images of the series while trying to pre-order the books as they come out! I will watch the series, my daughter tells me it's excellent, but not until I've finished the books... And George hasn't even finished book 6 yet! I think there are already differences between the TV and the books, not just the ending, but I won't say any more ;)

Yes of course there are differences! I hope George doesn't die before finishing all the books ;D

If he does, I guess I'll just have to watch the TV... I saw an interview where he got really annoyed at people for suggesting he might, but the longer it goes... No, be positive, he's not going to die until he's finished his masterpiece! crosses fingers, toes and other extremities

I have zero interest in cryptocurrency so I happily ignore those posts. My initial draw to Steemit was travel photography and stories. There is a lot of amazing content on here but yes, you have to scroll through a lot of other articles to find it. I would love to see a tag filter so you could set it to not show any articles with a particular tag. As an example Today I don't want to hear about war, politics, Islam or crypto. yes, the pics are a nice contrast to the story

Nice poses. photos are ok, but I think more contrast would improve the images overall.

I recently fell in love, with Arya Stark :D
