when do we get to Kant's categorical imperative or john stuart mill and utilitarianism or what saul alinsky said in rules for radicals: "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules." when do we get to what i consider one of the most the most pressing questions for humankind the tragedy of the commons? thank you maverickinvictus in looking back i wasn't very clear and yes it does sound like i was advocating objectivism:( why i put in the part about the moral compass though is that issues of morality don't happen in a vaccuum of isolation deviod of context. do as you will in terms of feeling emotion straight up hedonism, in terms of intelligence philosophy in considering what one thinks/considers morally in one's own interest yup that's p much objectivism. i'm not a straight up hedonist nor a follower of objectivism i could have been more clear thats not waht i'm advocating. I do believe in trying to achieve moral balance! My understanding is that wisdom is both a thinking and feeling endeavor. I still stand by my central thesis that what was once to be considered copyright & distribution in practical terms going forward does not apply. I don't have all the answers we have lots of unanswered questions. Here is what gives me hope the internet is greatest tool ever devised for sharing ideas/information/data and engaging discussions as evidenced by this post and thread:) i think the best we can possibly get from the internet system of trust we have never had before on the one hand and on the trustless networks that systemize much of what was historically wasteful human the drudgery on the other (think blockchain)
now i'll stfu. THANK YOU for futzing with the code!
