I believe you need to do more than just upvote a trending post. Offering a comment that has substance and contributes to the conversation will get you farther when responding to such posts. Also if your comment can generate others to comment that is resourceful. - I have asked questions too as that is how we learn. Here is a post that I will share with you of my questions.
