i totally agree with you on writing comments that are appropriate and relevant to the post and not just writing it for the sake of writing it
i went scrolling down this post and saw no comment of yours
no reply on the comments
or maybe I missed it
comments should at least be like - "comment like you mean it" not just commenting for the sake of getting attention
some folks could sense fakeness too
