2, this would help newbies understand Steemit better,
3, you wrote it following the KISS rule (keep it stupid simple) it's reader friendly.
I noticed that your tag has just been to just 4, may I suggest that you use #minnowsunited because I do believe that plenty of minnows would benefit on this. You could still edit it because it's just been posted for 22 hours - after 24 hours you won't be able to edit it anymore.

@haphazard-hstead it's sad to watch articles like this so beautifully put together get ignored... next time you do something like this(help/ guide/ walkthrough) I suggest that you use the tag steemithelp, steemit, minnowsunite this would really help newbies, after 24 hours - am not sure whether they would still see it

One day i watched my newly published article drown and vanish from the NEW articles drop down / feed pretty fast.
I didn't expect this post would have much traction here on Steemit. I made it so the folks I know from TSU could relate to Steemit better. It's nice that they can see this post without having to sign up for Steemit first. I do think they would add a lot here and enjoy it more than the places they are trying out now. Thanks for your encouragement and advice, too!
