I am still very exited about the HF19, first I thought it can't be real it must be a Bug, but @klye and @demotruk explained it very well in their comments from yesterdays post:
On the other hand, the Rewards pool had a huge drop since yesterday!
... but I guess to many people where too exited and voted much more then usual,
like me, and drained their voting power more then normal !
So far HF19 looks like it is a success, lets wait a couple of days to see how it is going :)

I think i joined steemit with this lot of minnows. I just learned about hf19 a few minutes ago and as a minnow I'm happy with this hardfork! Let's wait and see if the price of SBD will hold now that there will be huge volumes being withdrawn.

I did´nt drive it all the way down, managed to stay just shy of 50%. But it is hard not to vote on everything I like as before, has to stop myself a lot...

Yeah at first i thought it was a mistake too :) I think it is a good change not just because i'm a minnow myself, but because i think this will lead to an explosion in people joining steemit. As long as the numbers keep growing, people will invest in steem and the value will raise.

Until I started seeing these posts about the hardfork, I thought something crazy had happened overnight to my posts which were worth little.
I like these changes, the popularity of Steemit depends on incentivizing new users more than anything.

I think you were partially right that the votes are taking more from the reward pool right now, we are digging deep. It will adjust and rebalance, there may be a period of lower rewards after a couple of weeks.
I think so too, but let's see how the Rewards Pool will do, after everyone comes to their sense and vote less :)
Even if everyone keeps voting like crazy, the system will adjust to it.
It would have been interesting to see a reference like how much this drop was in past month

it feels like a success, my only issue was i felt for some reason that it was not sustainable but then i will never truly understand economics. i guess i'll always be a peon when it comes to numbers and maths! :)
