Steemit is About Community Over Money: The Real Steemit Success

Steemit is about making this world a better place, serves as another check against corrupt authorities and oppressive governments, and most importantly brings conscious minded people together under one metaphorical roof. The fact that we get rewarded financially for our promotion of liberty, peace, and harmony is a fantastic bonus, that inspires us all to intensify our humanitarian efforts, and maintain that promotion within the Steemit platform.

When I first started posting on Steemit back in February 2018, I was discouraged at first by how little I was receiving in rewards. I knew it would be liked this starting out, but even after I improved the quality and comprehensiveness of my posts, and morphed my Steemit posts into full on articles, I still did not see much more rewards than before. I did not let this stop me however, and I persistently created what I consider top-notch articles, despite the low rewards I was receiving.

It was not until I started networking, by participating in other Steemian's contests and interactive articles, and meeting new people through Discord, that I not only saw my rewards improve, but also started being noticed by more influential members of the Steemit community, which also ramped up my following quite a bit.

It was at this point where I started taking my Steemit role very seriously, writing up to three intricate articles per day, and promoting other Steemian's high caliber yet under-recognized articles. Shortly after this is when my biggest Steemit sub-group @tribesteemup started receiving huge sponsorship from a couple whales, at which point my rewards took a huge leap forward, and then I really started turning up the heat.

As the year has progressed, and my free time has diminished since things are getting busy at the farms I work on, I have now limited myself to one (but no more than two) article per day, so I can focus all of my energy into one topic each day, and still have enough time to tackle all of the tasks in my life this busy time of year.

The rewards I have been receiving through all of this time have been put to extremely good use. In addition to helping fund my debut album release, I have been able to delegate to many other deserving projects like @freedomtribe, @ssg-community or #steemsilvergold, @canna-curate, and the project I recently created to support conscious hip-hop across the Steemit platform @emsteemians. I have also been able to cash out some of my earnings in silver, including some @steemsilverround's!

I hardly ever cash our my earnings however, as I prefer to save some of my STEEM not used for powering up back into the system, to donate to other Steemians that help me with certain parts of collaborative projects I pursue. Currently I am holding my second logo design contest, where I have met several talented graphic designers that work and compete for STEEM. I have also met multiple web developers, one of which is helping me build a website to help promote my original music. There are artists of all kinds, promoters, producers, musicians, block-chain developers, event organizers, chefs, cypto-experts, silversmiths, revolutionaries, experienced travelers, and all kinds of other sources of information and active functioning utilities from all over the world here on Steemit. This is all accessible to anyone that earns STEEM by participating in this community. This is what I like to call, next level sh-t, but is more accurately referred to as the revolutionary evolution of technology.

All of you wonderful beautiful humans working together to build something better for ourselves, families, and communities is what makes this platfrom great. Steemit gives us a chance to show the rest of the world who we really are, and gives them a glimpse into all of our lives that was previously un-accessible by most. If your paying attention, the right Steemit author can make their readers feel like they are their best friend, and they may even know them as well as one if they read enough of their content.

The fact is that Steemit.com is making this world a better place by supporting and promoting so many conscious minded humans, that are waking up those that are still asleep. Without all the beauty content creators manifest for this platform, Steemit would still be nothing more than a blank slate. WE MAKE STEEMIT COLORFUL AND VIBRANT, & we have not yet reached the end of our rainbow. This journey has been nothing less than breathtaking, and nothing exemplifies what this platform is about better than this International Steemit Music Video organized by @kennyroy.
