Purpose
This is a place we can come together and list "bad" actors that we feel are significantly decreasing the value of the STEEM infrastructure. This will help aid in our voting habits. For example, people with the most steam power (SP) have the most powerful votes which can be harnessed to make themselves richer. This is not usually a problem because there are so many "normaltons" and the economy as a whole, is kept safe. This is in part due to the math which involves squaring some denominators, which is proportional to the number of voters. This means that in general, a large number of normaltons acting appropriately (to improve the value of the system) will overcome the bad actors.
Unfortunately, many of users may blindly vote something up because there are already many votes and the post may be more visible due to the "initial whale boost." The rare few bad actors may escape though with a little extra value using unwelcomed tactics.
If they are listed here, think again about voting a post or comment of theirs up.
RULES
- In the comments, each top level comment should start with the user in question. This will mean it will begin with an "@" followed by the account name. For example @exampleone. Then make your point and others can respond or vote. The person in question may comment to defend themselves, but they must not vote on that overall topic or else I will add their name automatically. I will let the discussion and intensity of pro/con voting decide. The list will include "why" and will be very limited. This is not some super broad witchhunt. It is a means to organize our thoughts.
- People on this list should be having an actual negative significant economic effect. I am not talking about someone who is acting in a negative way without any significant effect to the community, or someone who is being "mean" or vulgar or harassing. The goal is to find economic leeches.
