another way that you can interact with witnesses... some will hold writing challenges, or contests, or other fun things to engage the community. sometimes its hard to tell that they're witnesses , I've seen some that are really shy, and some that are really bold. just like life :)I have used steemit.chat in the past - but I now use discord more often. My friend came into a discord channel with me the first time to attend @shadowspub 's Pimp Your Post Thursday - and it changed the game for him! LOL He couldn't believe the difference. Steemit is so valuable - but the connection is limited to comments (that can become pages of comments like you and I have had in the past hahahaha) Steemit.chat and Discord bring everyone together all at once. It's like having a mini steemit reunion everyday. hahahaha That's where I interact the most with my witnesses. (and sometimes, i interact with them and don't find out later that they're witnesses! cuz they're just a steemian... like me! having fun) hahahaha

but we have 30 votes! so i'd like to use all mine on the ones that represent the best parts of Steemit for me! :) As much as upvotes and resteems and comments are important to us.... witness votes are what the witnesses value :) It means they're being recognized for what they contribute to the platform.
