Asking Seattle - What do you know about Bitcoin, block-chains, and cryptocurrencies?

A Steemit Exclusive!

After joining the platform, @dan and @ned have inspired me to keep contributing original content to help grow the community.

Today I went downtown to 4th and Pine in Seattle asking people for $5, "what do you know about cryptocurrencies?"

Sorry for the quiet audio at parts, won't happen again

In think that steemit is the best way, and has the greatest chance of success, that I have so far heard of to gently introduce the masses to crypto. Wide adoption is much more likely now.

That's awesome! It's interesting if you're in online crypto communities how it's all very obvious to us but most of the people you see every day have no clue.

Upvoted but,

["steemit","bitcoin","ethereum","blockchain","cryptocurrency","introduceyourself"]

Could we all chill on over-using the introduceyourself tag please

It's hard for me as a new user to know what tag is appropriate to use at times. I included introduceyourself because they had asked me to prove I was a real person, and this video was the first proof

Ah fair enough :) Great video you made!

Youtube just suggested this video to me. I am sure it took guts asking random people if they have ever heard of this stuff. I think I already knew the answer would be "no." I like the concept of streeter videos, hopefully you do some more.

this is cool

That's really interesting! Post more. Lots of people don't know that these terms mean at all.

Thanks kind stranger ;) I am planning how I want to go about the next video - what questions, what format etc. Was thinking of doing a just Brexit focused video next time (maybe this weekend or after work one day)

Dibs on the Eastside! You stay in Seattle! I just converted a few friends of mine today as well. Word of mouth is very powerful and the barrier to entry for Steemit is bare minimum which is key. Just get people to sign up, they can figure out the crypto aspect later on!

Interesting. People seem friendly in Seattle.

There is a wide variety of people here. About half of everyone I went up to were not interested at all in talking with me. But the rest were quite friendly indeed! I wonder if being a scruffy-looking nerf herder scares some people off? lol

lol yeah i think it is the majority of the world that doesn't know..lets hope that changes in the very near future!!...thanks for the video:)

And for all of us, hop aboard the Lunar Express straight to da moooooon! =P

This is a great idea, actually! :) We should start vlogging more!

great job, keep them coming, will definitely follow.

Thanks wesdacar, I just went out and bought a GoPro today so I can start taking better footage. Next step is getting a decent mic

excellent, try the Rhode Video Mic pro, its been good to me :-)

Love Seattle.
Spent time at Alki Beach and Golden Gardens in Ballard.

That was cool! But don't give them money next time, unless they could answer a couple questions with the good answer!
