Steemit is it really worth it?

Hi Guys and girls,

Is Steemit really worth it for an average normal person?
I subscribed because I liked the idea of the platform but what I am actually seeing annoys me a bit.

I see tons of posts with pure plagiarism and tons of posts with only screenshots and stuff...
Just to have the amount of posts needed to have that badge or to have that automatic resteem bot thing do its job.

Also I see most of the time that quantity overrules quality.

Not sure if I will fit into this community which in my opinion is a great concept.

Yeah just did a small post to have more posts isn't that ironic?
Not even know this gets noticed, I am just curious about the level of activity/awareness/involvement.
