More useful updates these days here on Steemit, have you noticed that Money talks? Oh yes definitely, I can feel it. For those who do not have the guts to truly express their feelings in fear of not being upvoted, well, here's a reality check for you guys.
I don't know, am I the only one who is sad about these updates, such as the Money talks on the welcome page? Is it really true for everyone or just for the top 10%? I'm not complaining, I can get buy with my regular income of $5 here and there. Thanks to those who love me. 😊 Nevermind those who really need to be upvoted in order to survive and those who are getting richer and richer. Double the hard work as usual for us down here! Time to get a proper job.
I'm tempted to expose my tribe so I could find some loyal supporters, be autoupvoted and not have to write 4-6 paragraphs anymore. Perhaps beg and hang out in the chatroom and find my own gang? Maybe add the spam - Follow, Resteem, Upvote below my posts? Not trying to be classy here, but I would be happier if there would be more useful updates for those who write for the sake of writing and for our lovely followers who read our posts thoroughly.
Other useful updates besides the Money talks thing, the author name that is switching from gray to black and now gray again. How important that is!
In case you haven't noticed, I don't have a cover photo yet. Not that I really care at this moment, unless some other important features are prioritized.
Wow, the fonts changed too and instead of 'submit' I can now 'post', another useful updates for all of us.
Don't forget what we are always told - It's still in beta, shut up or leave!
Excuse me, I have my money here too, I'll say what I need to say now.
Things that we'll hope for in the future, some irrelevant updates:
I don't know how people can sleep well knowing that other posts deserve more love. Please, at least let us have your extra body fat so we can turn it into an organic soap, and we can sell it within the platform.
Posts are still not getting seen, same old shit up there lacking new ideas. Time to wake up!
Ease of use, let us easily insert emojis at least? That's more important for us.
Let's maintain the third world economy of Steemit even more.
In the end, let's be grateful that there's a legitimate way to make money online, money talks right? We hope for more useful updates to come! 😊

ahhh I agree. I didn't really like the money talks campaign. I think there is more to talk about such as the rich community that is on Steemit. :) aww yes, I wish there were more ways to help expose good content and new minnows!

Community features are meant to be coming. That should help somewhat with people being able to find quality content in their niche. I hope so. It ain't easy for the minnows.
At the end of the day, if the content we're presenting isn't engaging and relevant, then neither is Steemit.
I follow you and engage with you because I find you interesting and relevant. The Steem and Steem Dollars are pertinent, but it can't be the end all, be all. Without relationships, none of this means anything.
Sure this is what we want to convince ourselves. Let's be blind to the other realities.

I also posted my discontent about this new "advertising" campaign of Steemit. Focusing on the money side is going to attract the wrong type of people (or more bots!?!).
One of these days I promise to be contributing something more than crypto updates .. but life and work has been busy and putting together that post is based on the analysis that I'm already doing on a daily basis for my own personal crypto investments (plus some of my crypto thoughts of the day).
Anyway, we'll all keep up the good fight and try to make Steemit a better place with our content speaking for itself!
PS Steemit is probably changing the font style that's why it is down the whole day lol.

Really? Maybe steemit was down because they were changing some colors or something. Replies like that became invisible haha.
PS. If money talks, how come there's this whale/famous person kept on commenting and begging me to read post without even upvoting mine haha. Tiny upvote will go a long way. Anyway, I ignore spam.

Yes, it is very cool how many people are showing up to these meetings. I just celebrated my first month here and we've had two so far, plus one next week and the following.
I like that we are real people and that we are focused on organic, as you mentioned.
One of our dolphins, @lpfaust is actually in the process of helping network with some local farmers who are considering steem as a currency for the sale of their goods.
I think that if there are communities of us working in ways, such as this, not only do we bring heart but also utility forward.
you're right, i don't think money is a campaign to start with.
I use the platform for its productivity and decentralized communication. Talking to nice people like you is great. The steem we get us just a bonus.
It gives me an insight to the EOS project as well. I'm really looking forward to using that platform. It's going to be big, and have more potential than steemit in my opinion. I'm SUPER EXCITED for June 2018 to roll around for its release. The potential is limitless, especially for the third world economy!
Yeah, the money campaign is bad but I'm pretty sure many people are here not for the ease of use but for the money, unfortunately.

It gets slightly easier after rep:50, more comfortable at 60, and you earn $100 a post for the picture of your fan at rep 70!
Believe me, my 100 dollars days were when I was at rep25, you still have a chance to show what you got!
That's true. I am observing other profiles. Some do a couple of 100 dollars, then sink to 2 cents! Then there are others that do a dozen 1 cent posts, and suddenly a 100-dollar upvote changes everything.
For sure one is more stable after rep 60 and 1000 engaging followers. ;)
P.S. I also see long, in-depth posts are doing well. But again it will put one off if you get two votes after the effort.
