THANKFUL

Yesterday, I was walking along the road and passed by a young pregnant woman hawking boiled groundnut, she was singing: "you are bigger than my problem, bigger than everything, God is bigger than any mountain, I cannot see..."

I had to stop on my track, and went back to purchase groundnut (it was not in my mind when I left home). I was moved by the song. There are certain things we do unknowingly and we call "good attention to ourselves."

As I trekked to my destination, I began to ponder: How can a pregnant woman, hawking boiled groundnut on the street still take a time out to sing to God. Was she not meant to be shouting "Come and buy Groundnut?"

I could see the genuineness of her heart because she kept singing, she changed to another song of thanksgiving.

.
Whereas, some persons are in offices with fully fitted Air Conditioner yet they are still complaining that their salaries have not been increased, why not firstly give thanks for the one you have been receiving?

Some Christians are still threatening God that if He does not provide money for them to travel out of the Country, they will leave the faith.

Some persons are lamenting that they are riding Toyota Corolla while there mates are riding Venza(s). Is it until you trek from Berger to Ajah before you know that your Toyota Corolla is worth giving thanks for?

The undoing of a man before God is when he starts complaining about what he does not have, forgetting that he still have breath in his nostril.

For two weeks, I have not eaten Beans yet I am still grateful to God for the provision of Rice, yam, etc.

The Children of Israelites never got to the promised land because they were not grateful, they were full of complains.

.
You don't increase by complaining. When you give thanks, then you will see increase.
