My advice to new Steemers is not to jump in the wagon (start posting) immediately they sign up, research, make friends (follow people), check out posts in the trending section and try and understand why they are trending, pick a lesson or two from their posts, find your niche(something that your followers will know you for), try and also find ways you can help steemit grow, that way you are growing also.
