Blog# 1 Introduction to Ark.io
A Platform for the People, Owned by the People.
I will be covering the Ark.io over the next few days explaining in detail certain elements about the ARK Exchange Platform to help give people a better idea of what Ark is by breaking these elements down into segments. Ark is a huge project that can become a little difficult to understand at first due to the huge goals it is setting itself. These blogs will hopefully help you understand Ark a little better.
As I am sure you may have noticed from the heavy advertising campaign, ARK.io is currently having a crowdsale tokens that will run the Ark Platform.
Ark is attempting to introduce a platform that is set up for the user and bring Blockchain technology to the masses. Quite a challenge you might well be thinking, and indeed it is a challenge as many projects that have come before it have tried and failed at this goal.
However, Ark has a different approach, an approach that has not yet been tried. What Ark is attempting, in the most professional manner is to build out a Exchange Platform for their users and then hand FULL ownership other the users, or I should rather say owners of the token, you see, the Ark Token holders will have full control of the platform and will have, as a whole control over what direction the platform grows, for example
The Ark Platform will be a foundation by allowing the owners fo the network, using the delegate system where they can propose a project they want to build and the delegate offers a stake in the project to those who vote for them.
The Ark Team, will be however, building additional arms onto the project as part of their roadmap. The Ark token holders are also free to fund and build on top of the ARK network also through crowdfunding.
The core of ARKS philosophy is to build the network to them pass it over to the users of the network so the users own and control the network giving the users full voting rights and effectively control of the network, for example if the users are not happy with the performance of one of the nodes in the network they can vote to have the node replaced by another one.
But where Ark majorly differs from other platforms is that it will be a platform that bridges together other blockchains, interlinking them into one whole network that will enable the different blockchains to speak to one another, on top of this, the Network will be able to speak to third parties and centralised entities with trigger functions that listen out for specific demands. This, my friends, is quite a big deal. So in essence Ark will be bringing the technology to bridge everybody together, something that has not yet been seen in the crypto current space.
You can find a the link below that will direct you to the ARK.IO ICO page where you can find out more about Ark and can participate in the Initial Coin Offering.
This looks very interesting. Upvoted, resteemed and followed.
Thanks! It is indeed an interesting project. I'll be posting some more information about the project shortly.
I've taken a look. It appears to be simply a currency exchange. Is there more to it?
