We have all seen the post doing the rounds on Facebook claiming Mark is going to give away millions of dollars to random Facebook users. And all they have to do is update their Facebook status to be eligible for the cash.
Well that is not happening.
But what if he paid you for the time you spent creating post, liking posts, and commenting on other peoples posts.
Well that is not happening either. But that is exactly what's happening on another social network called Steemit.
Steemit is the first and only social network utilizing the decentralized technology known as blockchain and uses a new cryptocurrency called STEEM to reward users who upload articles, images, commentary, etc.
Members can also get paid is by up-voting (liking) other peoples content. The earlier a person up-votes a post that becomes popular, the greater the reward. Users are compensated half in 'Steem Power' and half in Steem Dollars.
You can then move your Steem to exchanges like Binance, and Bittrex. and trade it for other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Or even cash out and sell them for dollars.
Here is a days work for @adsactly. Over $457 in just one day. At that rate, that would be over $170,000 per year. That of course is not guaranteed. It could be less, or it could be more.
And when you consider the posts can be made from anywhere in the world, the idea of world travel just became a whole lot easier to obtain.
So next time you see that Mark is giving away money to his users, you will know it's just another hoax.
If you want to get paid for your time spent socializing on the internet, the place to be is Steamit.
Here is to profitable posting,
