Very exciting news, and also a question for the Steemit community in this post.

Four days ago I posted a new initiative using the tag "steemitcreators" wherein I'd be recruiting some quality creators to the Steemit platform, in order to continue growing the community, in this post: https://steemit.com/steem/@davidpakman/i-m-bringing-some-major-creators-to-steemit

Today I'm excited to announce that I will soon be announcing the successful recruitment of three more quality creators, all from different areas. One is within video gaming, another from the music world, and the third from the world of cooking and photography.
Specific welcoming announcements will come over the next 7-14 days and I think all three will add significantly to the Steemit community.
Lastly, my question to you: In hosting a national TV and radio talk show for many years now, my network of creative people in different fields has grown, and I'd like to hear from the community about types of content that you feel would be particularly enriching to Steemit, particularly ones that you feel are currently missing, so that I can examine my network and see who I might be able to recruit. Please leave your thoughts in a reply!

You mention types of content that would be enriching to steemit. I would like to see steemit cater for everyone. At the moment there is a lot about crypto and blockchain, which does not appeal to the masses (yet)
What type of content brings users to any platform? if you ask me, a wider variety of main streem content is needed, but we also need curators too, if we only have creators and no curators Steemit does not work

This is exciting and great that you are doing great for the community and I am sure more will come in future and we will see a boom.
Maybe you can contact TJ Kirk about it! I know he's looking for alternatives to YouTube/patreon and he's mentioned bitcoin recently. And I know you've been on drunken peasants before. If he understood the platform he would love it. I tried letting him know about it but I doubt he saw.

Each new youtuber is huge for steemit. Thank you for bringing over so many of them and hope you continue doing so.
I would like to see more sports related content creators on steemit. Not particularly youtubers but maybe bloggers or people that are active on twitter.

Steemit is the platform for a you tuber

Having started out on Steemit back on August 1st 2016, I've been working hard to get others on this platform and have recruited a lot of big names including Max Keiser of Russia Today. Have been in talks with Ron Paul recently as well.
It's great to see other people heavy lifting and bringing more people to this incredible platform still in its infancy. The future potential for Steemit is truly incredible. ;) Good work!
I actually think what's missing are celebrities that people would follow on twitter. Think about really any celeb who has a twitter/facebook presence. Some people who come to mind are musicians, actors/actresses, and athletes.
Not exactly content creators in the same sense as the david pakman show, but more people who would have one-liners or thoughts that people are receptive to.
I can try and think of some examples if that would help.
At our early stage they probably didnt come to steem as here is little of aufience they seek. Tech guys who crave new tech are more likely guests.
Yep totally right. I'm wondering how we can start a shift given that the social medias are pretty much solidified. Twitter, facebook instagram - they aren't going anywhere. There's no incentive for celebs to add a 4th of steem AND the small money incentive isn't much for rich celebs (actors, football players, politicians, etc.)
I know who needs money and always have something to say.
Wikileaks.
But I don't know could steem blockchain handle such volume of information.
Anything that is poplar is a winner. What am into is homesteading.

I’m an NFL YouTuber. I create weekly content about my team and the teams they play against. I try to entertain my 700+ subscribers each week. I’ve already had 67,000+ views so far and growing daily! I would love to gain more followers on Steemit and help my followers grow too with the content I create. Any help/support would be great from you @davidpakman
The rules of great succuess in crypto:
If you don't follow those steps you probably lose your money. Furthermore you will have a very stressful life, no sleep and end up hate yourself for your mistakes.
And learn this lesson: you can't control the situation. You can't change a 30% bitcoin gain or decrease. You can't forsee what happens. And you can't fucking beat the market.
But one thing is for sure: if you picked a good coin it will eventually recover with even more force. The only bad thing that might happen is if cryptocurrencies get prohibited worldwide! In that case you should cash out asap...
Is there any reason to think that cryptocurrencies could get banned worldwide?

Thank you for promoting, I am excited for your friends to arrive. We have a wide range of interest already present on the platform. The strongest being on programing/crypto, travel, and food. I would love to have content creators that do surveys or share real life stories of people that cannot or will not share their own.
Not sure if anything like that is even possible, but it would be nice. I found your show on Tv and thought to myself. I heard him on msp-waves!

Congrats on recruiting three, soon to be, quality creators for steemit. I'm pretty new myself and especially curious about the creator from the music world. As a somewhat audiophile it would be lovely to have more music and audiophile related content on steemit.

There have been many homesteaders that come from YouTube and are posting on Steemit. Some are still posting but some are not, I think the reason is the reward was not worth the work in their opinion. What they do not realize it takes time to make the platform work for them and build their blog up just like you have to with YouTube or any other platform. They are some that put out really good content and somehow we need to try and figure out how to get the ones that have left back .
great info for me to know. of the people coming over with me, not all are YouTubers and I'm trying to be as upfront as possible that this is a building process that they'd need to commit to for some time.
Yes, Steemit is not a sprint it is a marathon. It takes time to build your blog with followers that post and respond to you. Learning the small things that makes this platform successful for you. I have been here seven months and I still have lots to learn but I learn something new every day. The most important thing is to put out as good of content as you can and respond to others and build relationships. Build as much SP as you can and love being on Steemit.
What I feel is missing on Steemit are more comic related content creators

I'd like to see more content related to science fiction and conspiracies. I am an avid fan of authors such as Robert Anton Wilson, Timothy Leary, Hunter S. Thompson and Phillip K. Dick and would love to see material similar here. It would be appreciated if there were more simulating entertainment such as comedy and satire, also.

I think it would be better to provide verified accounts to NEWS agencies like BBC, CNN etc on steemit. Not only it help in growing steemit community but will also be profitable to NEWS agencies.

Hey thanks for your consideration I just followed you. I'm pretty new to steemit I invest in cryptocurrency. The more I learn the deeper the rabbit hole goes. I've been learning more about the block chain lately and it's just amazing technology. There's different layers and they build new idea on those platforms all the time it's like the beginning of a whole new world far has technology goes and I'm sure a lot of people here have touched on it at one time or another. But it's truely fascinating and probably boring to some people but to really understand cryptos and even steemit and where it comes from and where it's going I believe you have to understand where it all starts. So I'd like to see some stuff kinda breaking it down and making it more simple to understand if that's possible lol but just people that can explain how some of that works. How they build programs on top of it. the science and math and cryptography of it all. What it's is some of these new companies and projects actually do. How the coins are relevant and how what these companies are doing threw there individual projects to make their goals happen. Hope I didn't get to specific there I'm not to demanding. Looking forward to more of your post. Thanks steemit. Love it!
There is definitely a need for a sort of "Crypto" for Dummies content. I'm not a technophobe by any means, I've got an (incredibly useless LOL) degree in IT and I am struggling to take it all in.
