Well one tool that I use for blogging is wordcounter.net. I like to keep my blogs between 300 and 1000 words.
I used to use Microsoft Word to count the words, but this way seems easier since it is online and I can open up another window for it.
Another thing I like about wordcounter.net is that not only does it give the number of words you used, but also, characters, sentences, paragraphs, reading level, reading time, speaking time and keyword density.
These are just some of the benefits of wordcounter.net.
Another tool I like to use is my TextAloud. It is a text to speech program that I use. After writing something I always like running it through my text to speech program.
I mean if you can listen to your own words spoke by a computer then you can really find your mistakes. The voice that I use is AT&T Crystal16. I like that voice. Plus I used to work for AT&T.
I may listen, then fix something then run it through the text to speech again then find something else that needs to be fixed. I may run it through twenty times and still find things to rewrite.
So right before posting I listen to it several times and if I don't hear anything that needs rewriting I will post it.
Of course even after posting I will find other things that I missed. Good thing for the seven day edit key.
Another tool is my cell phone camera. Just like in my last blog I took a picture of a pencil on the floor of a place and blogged about it.
Almost everybody carries there cell phone on them, so keep looking for opportunities of a photo for your blogs.
One time I seen a car that someone left in the parking lot of a business and there was a big log under the car and the car was of stripped of almost everything.
All the wires were gone along with the wheels I could even see the tops of the pistons someone took the head too.
I should have took a picture of it, but I didn't want to stop driving. That could have been a good blog.
Also it always looks better if you have even just one picture as the first picture will be your thumbnail on the feeds.
If I don't use my own pictures then I use pixabay.com for pictures like the one I used for this blog.
When using one of these pictures from them make sure to look for the words, Free for commercial use, No attribution required, next to the picture.
Another tool that I like using is steemnow.com. I like to see who is upvoting me. Also if someone is going to upvote you, you might as well at least look at their current blogs and it you like it upvote it.
Another thing I like about steemnow.com is that it tells me when I have 100 percent voting power. That is good to keep in mind when up voting.
Remember you only have so many votes and each vote takes a percentage away from your next vote. Something to consider.
Steemnow.com is also good for watching curation rewards and author rewards. It is always good to see how much Steem Power and SBD are coming in.
OK, these are some of the tools I use in blogging. If you've got other tools you like using please mention them in the comments.
If you enjoyed this blog please upvote and follow.
Thank you, David.
