Checkout the latest trendings to see what happened, we are even in the news, coindesk, etc, the new community proposed fork will be called hive https://steempeak.com/communityfork/@hiveio/announcing-the-launch-of-hive-blockchain just announced, in response to this https://steempeak.com/tron/@steemitblog/an-open-letter-to-the-community-hf22-5
So one more week or so and you might take a decision, or not, basically comunity will split away from a "takeover".
