I considered it as well, but couldn't justify having more Steem over BTC right now. That said, it was a personal decision, and if I didn't loan BTC on polo/finex I probably would have purchased and powered up a bunch.

How much do you mean loaning out BTC?
Loan rates vary, sometimes they are .05% per day, sometimes have been higher than .2%. On average in the 2 months I've been loaning it's been about .1% per day.
