That's very inspiring mate, one question though, let say I manage to get thousands of followers, but every follower also follows thousands of authors, which means there will be thousands of posts on their feed, how do my post stays on top in that page then? Or is it at the end, I still need bots to help me?

It's impossible to have your post on the top of the feed as new articles will be published. The hot and trending pages though, are the ones you'll want to reach. If you're on top of any of those, you'll get tons of exposure and visibility.
That being said, it's almost impossible to reach the trending pages nowadays, as most authors on there spends several hundred dollars to buy they way there.

Since you said it is almost impossible for minnows like us to reach the trending page, mind if I ask again, let say if I am capable of producing good content + active in interaction within this community, what else I could do other than spending money on bidbots?
Unfortunately, it's extremely difficult to be a newcomer on Steemit nowadays... But good content and being active like you said, that's definitely the best way to get some traction.
There are a bunch of different projects and initiatives one can participate in and there are several discord channels where you can interact with others too. Getting to know people and doing something good for the community, or for others, is a good approach.
