Why are you here?...Do you understand the concept and why Steemit was created?..How much of Steemit ideology do you have?.

Most people especially the minnows, they have this common way of thinking. Most of them think steemit is just a platform created for people to come in and start making money. It's true we make money from steemit, but is that what it's all about?, do we just make money from steemit by posting anything we like or wish, or by copying and paste?. I believe that wasn't the dream and why this platform was created.

Understanding the ideology of Steemit

Most people have joined steemit, stay on the platform, and never for once go through the quick start guide, to gain a proper knowledge of how this place works. First you need to understand the ideology of steemit, the aim and why it was created. Was is just for the monetary aspects? Does it have a lot to do more than that?..

When you understand the ideology, you'll look at steemit beyond the monetary aspect, when i joined steemit newly, i was so glad to jump at the opportunity, I saw it as an avenue to make fast money by posting anything, so i started posting anything. I didn't understand the basics, so all those post didn't earn. Then I started asking questions, read about the basics, i started interacting more. Then i discoverd that this was no Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram that you can just post whatever you see online just for people to laugh and make fun of it.

When you're on Stemmit, you need to be creative, bring up ideas, Ideas on how to make steemit more successful and better. None of us would be learning today if everyone here were posting trash just to make money. Copying and paste, posting no good or of use articles won't help you in anywhere, instead it tells people how un-serious you are, you're considered to be inferior in quality and refinement and how low you are when it comes to thinking and being creative.

Thanks to @Ehiboss, @surpassinggoogle, @cecicastor, @destinysaid, @beanz, @hr1, @dragonslayer101, they've really helped me to understand how this platform really works.

Putting in work, I can understand how reading and writing an article for days to post, and earn nothing can be so discouraging. But if you take your mind back to remember how long you've been on facebook, Instagram, twitter and the rest. But never for once you did earn from there. But what happened? You never stopped posting, and that's because you knew from the beginning that you won't earn. Erase the mindset of earning from steemit for now, and put in more effort, be creative and think of how you can help in making the community grow and you'll start seeing the difference.

But how do you intend to get the attention of these guys if you don't show them what you can do and how creative you are?

I believe there is no man made of God, that will see the hard work you've put in and won't give you their upvote.

The truth is, you can't grow from where you are today if you don't put in the best in whatever you do. Don't be discouraged, don't look at what you earn for now, just put in more work and be creative. And i promise you, one day you'll become the mighty whale in the ocean.
