Steemit where are you going?

Hey Steemitians 

I hope everyone enjoyed there weekend!

Today Ive been looking at graphs, reading reports and studying analyst in hopes of finding out where the price of steem is going. Although charts can give you an idea of how the market is trending, I believe that unforeseen events and the price of bitcoin will have a bigger impact on steemits future price. 

I would like to share something that Ive noticed during my time trading cryptos over the last year, I would like to note that I'm not an expert by any means so don't use this as trading advice. Ive picked up on a trend that tends to happen with smaller to mid pack quality cryptos. After a huge spike in growth similar to what weve seen in steem recently, there tends to be a correction of approx 50% of its overall gain, the price begins to stabilize until it flatlines over a period of time. I'm sure experts pick up on this trend and start to accumulate. This is usually when the next wave of growth begins, out of the flat and it can happen quite quickly.

I believe during this time of sideways movement it is an excellent time to be active building your profile and preparing for the next wave. It can happen over the coarse of weeks or even months, nobody really knows when, so just be ready!

We are still early adopters 

I know for many new minnows just starting out, it can feel like your too late to earn significant money, become a whale or profit from an investment. If you feel that way, I'm here to tell you that you are wrong. We are still very early and lucky to have joined the community this early in its development. You can become a whale, earn real money and still profit big time on a long term investment. 

Immutability is an under rated feature 

What you write will last an eternity, so take the time to make sure you mean what you say and say what you mean! Unlike any social media platform of the past, steemit has an immutable blockchain recording our posts, comments and transactions forever and nothing can change that. Steemit naturally repels negative content by down voting and making the content invisible, cleansing the atmosphere of trollish negativity. I love how the reward system naturally brings out the best in everyone, encouraging great content and producing positive feedback . 

Our community is literally picking up Steem! It will be interesting to see how big of a slice we can take out of the social media industry in the next couple years.
