Lol...back to where I started 3 hrs ago. I saw this post and just headed over to see what this @lukinsawyer character was up to and got caught up to his amazing adventure only to find he ran out of steem, It was a great ride though. 700 miles in 3hrs! :)
So yeah, this is a very informative post @karencarrens. I'm really starting to come around as to making a decision to use these upvote bots. I'm already a member of PAL and the minnowsupport trail but I have yet to use it in the month I've been a member.
Kinda wanted to see how I'd do organically. I'm beginning to realize it's important to have strong SP to be able to better help others with your daily vote quotient. So it kinda makes sense to use these bots while I still qualify as a minnow.
Thanks again for this post. I like the way your giving your shout-outs too. It's a great idea! So is being able to allocate some of your author awards to someone else.
Enjoy your day. };-)>
That's awesome you got caught up on @lukinsawyer's journey! Pretty amazing, huh? It is interesting the psychology of these bots! There are so many facets to Steem worth exploring. I know I've barely scratched the surface.
Yes it was, I enjoyed it very much. :)
I'm still kinda on the fence with the whole bot issue. Not that I don't think it helps many Steemians here, as I'm certain that it does. Just not down with some of the rules and the purpose for them.
It's quite confusing...I wonder how many anticipate an upvote at least equal or more than their investment only to find they misinterpreted the rules or just put a decimal in the wrong place only to find out that they had inadvertently made a nonrefundable donation. :-/
It looks like Lukin had to stop biking. He did amazing for as long as he lasted, for sure! And, any technology is going to be up to the person to be responsible to not make a mistake... not any different than when you need to move crypto around. It is what it is.
