Hey guys! Some of you that read this post might know that I finish my exams tomorrow! I talk a bit about what I'm planning to do next, but one big thing I play to do is make Steemit more beginner friendly.
When I first began my time here on Steemit, I didn't like it. My posts were getting nothing, no one commented and I felt like a tiny piece of hay in a big needle stack. I soon quit.
The only reason I came back to Steemit was monetary, I wanted to earn money from my own upvotes, as I had spent some of my BTC buying Steem. I commented on stuff, upvoted all my own comments and that's about all I did. Then, I discovered more, and more and more.
From bidbots, to local communities, to dapps, to vote-selling, to anything really. Steemit has so much to offer and it's such a jungle for a newbie, and I want to change this. After exams, I'll try to write a few articles explaining Steemit to a few different genres of users. Investors, bloggers and I'm hoping gaming!
I see gaming having a very bright future here on Steemit, so watch out current trending tags like "life" and "photography ;)
Cool, have you bought into the steem monsters yet?
Yes I have very much! I'm actually selling some of my cards right now!

What are your thoughts on self upvoting? It is a classic example of game theory. If we have enough wealth to satisfy our own needs then upvoting all of our content no longer makes sense, but when the majority of wealth is tied up in a few accounts self upvoting is always going to be prevalent.
I self upvote my own posts almost religiously, and I feel self upvoting comments is alright, as long as it's a long and worthy comment, maybe if you have a lot of SP don't 100% upvote your comment unless it's for visibility purposes on a big thread.
However, if you see someone commenting random shit with a self upvote under all of them, then that's something often frowned upon.
@cryptoeater, you are so right! Steemit appears to be a jungle for new users like me. Striving to earn, discouraged by the currency value and so many other things had tempt me to somehow quit but I strongly believe this platform has a bright future and that's why I persevere. You are so kind, trying to explain things for us, God bless! I hope you'll have good results in your exams!
I look forward to your articles after you finish your exams. Being new to Steemit I'll be interested in what you have to say and hopefully some good tips. Good luck tomorrow

Is that the reason why I keep loving you?I think this is some if the reason why I keep developing some kind of love for you,I will be looking up to when you are gonna make a post you just talked about.
You hosted a contest and I have write somethings about that.
Have you seen my Path of Exile races? Every 3 months, lots of prize money up for grabs. Gaming will really launch this sucker to the moon.
hope you did well during your exams @cryptoeater :)
Looking forward for your promissed posts. Yours, Piotr
ps. big fat ugly upvote on the way :)
good work for sticking around mate. It does take dedication and hard work to get anywhere. Thats what I keep having to tell my friends if I sign them up, its not a get rich quick scheme. Then they generally run away screaming.
I think gaming has a lot of potencial to grow here at steemit. I know some gamers, -inluding myself tho-, maybe some programmers can code a game that if we play can earn steem?, i will play it, i am playing steemnova actually but will be interested on a path of exile steem earning style game.
