As I mentioned your messages are generally promoting great things and ask important questions. Sometimes when your dear friends ask you to promote something you have to say no. This is the first time I looked at the link and was really disappointed. I don't live in Singapore, I don't think the largest cleaning company there needs our help and it's not relevant to 99% of the internet. Also I'm sure they can afford more, this low amount of prizes is really selling steem short. You can do better!

Hi @crypticat, allow me to explain or perhaps apologize on behalf of @crypto.piotr. I seek his help to spread the word regarding the content crowdsourcing campaign because I thought he is a resourceful man and having his help will be great.
Unlike in Venezuela, the Steem community is really small in Singapore. We probably has less than 10 active Steemians. Hence, though the reward amount seem small, it is reasonable to understand why the company doesn't want to spend more on the first trial.
Next, we sincerely want to understand how and why we do spring cleaning (or some kind of annual cleaning if applicable) in different countries. Singapore is a small country, and we love to learn about things outside. It will certainly be a refreshing topic to learn about how things are being done in Venezuela.
I understand that there are bigger things to worry about if you are living in Venezuela these days. And the campaign might seem lame and irrelevant. However, I hope you understand that any business, coming onboard Steem and spend fiat to buy Steem, will provide upward support to the price. If one business does it and is successful, more will follow. Thereby creating a positive reinforcement loop. At least that's what I hope.
Regardless, I apologise that the message from @crypto.piotr isn't welcomed by you. It was my idea and I take full responsibility. I hope you can still continue to support him in his work. Thanks.

I most certainly respect him for his work on Steemit, don't get me wrong. This was just a step out of the ordinary. Good luck with your promotional efforts!

Thanks!
Thank you @culgin for taking the time to write this comment and providing us with this full explanation.
I still believe that what you're trying to achieve can only benefit Steemit platform. We need businesses to get involved or this platform will only be full of "passionate nerds".
You nailed it. Thanks for your supportive words buddy. I really hope your contest will turn out to be succesful and you will get at least 6 entries.
Yours
Piotr
Thanks my friend!

Dear @crypticat
I do appreciate your feedback. I really do. Please let me know if you're still okey with receiving my memo once a week. Sometimes I will promote content you may enjoy, sometimes it will be something you may not like. I would appreciate your support in case if publication promoted by me does deserve your time.
Please keep in mind, that you can count on my help (whenever I can support you, I will) :)
You could always send me memo with link to your publication and 2-3 sentences description ? I will gladly support you with upvote, will drop a comment.
Yours,
Piotr
Thanks Piotr. I am fine with the memos. I'll ask you to look something over soon, but I'll just @crypto.piotr in the body.

hi @crypticat
unfortunatelly it will means that I will miss it. with my current amount of mentions and comments and with absolutely no support coming from Steemit to show recent mentions - it's hardly possible I would know about your post :(
