I am upvoting this in hopes for a good debate ahha
I glanced over a couple of the points and holy moly are they easy to counter! Check these ones out haha
"-If Earth and its atmosphere were constantly spinning eastwards over 1000mph then North/South facing cannons should establish a control while East-firing cannonballs should fall significantly farther than all others while West-firing cannonballs should fall significantly closer. In actual fact, however, regardless of which direction cannons are fired, the distance covered is always the same.
-If Earth and its atmosphere were constantly spinning eastwards over 1000mph, then the average commercial airliner traveling 500mph should never be able to reach its Eastward destinations before they come speeding up from behind! Likewise Westward destinations should be arrived at thrice the speed, but this is not the case."
Have you ever felt wind while inside your moving car (windows up)?
Have you ever dropped an object from inside a car? From ceiling/roof to floor.
Did the object hit you in the eye going 70MPH?
Thanks for the feedback. In truth, I only became aware of the flat earth debate on 7/24/16 (yesterday). I'm no expert on the topics of physics, earth science, or any of the latest research and developments in these fields. What I am an expert in is common sense, which is a rarity, in the areas where it is needed the most. So, here we go:
With humanity in a serious crunch for natural resources, and especially America's dependency on foreign oil, why aren't "we" tapping and developing the continent of Antarctica? As soon as I present this question, some bells and whistles should start going off - considering the age of terrorism that we live in, population challenges, food production demands, and so on. So, why aren't we developing that resource? (And there is a reason why "we" are not developing Antarctica.)
Have you ever heard of the Piri Reis map? This map, from ancient times, shows Antarctica without any ice on it. Cartography is an extremely precise science. Today we know, because of our technology, what the continent looks like under the ice, but what technology was being used to produce this highly detailed map? Because minus technology, ancient map makers would have had to map Antarctica during a time when there was no ice covering it. When was the last time that Antarctica was ice-free? And that is only the lesser part of the problem. Here, I've provided a link to that map, for you:
And I'll stop with this third point: If humanity accepts as truth, a model of reality that is false, then humanity itself stops existing, in a very real way, in reality, and instead becomes removed, to the land of make-believe. These bastards that run the planet, have us by the balls, as a species, at this point in history. We basically live on a slave planet today. The crazy part is that, we know in a very general way, that we're in trouble, but as a species we can't identify or develop any real solutions to the problem, and the reason why we can't is because our base assumptions about existence are imprecise. We are being mislead. We all know it, we just can't figure out how, in what way. I propose that we have accepted as fact, a three dimensional model, with a fourth dimension being time, perhaps, but that there are five or six more dimensions of reality that are unaccounted for, in our accepted model, and that the flat-earth paradigm has been concealed from us, as part of the process of keeping us enslaved, right up until this moment. To put it another way: have you, or anyone that you know, gone up into the air/sky/space far enough to actually see a spherical Earth? These people are our captors. There purpose is to keep us enslaved. Why would lying to us be too ridiculous? Isn't all fair in love and war? Our modern social system runs on secrets, lies, and misdirection. Major corporations aren't even trying to raise support for the idea of Antarctic R&D. They're not even using their connections, i.e. friends in the press or radio, to conveniently bring up the topic. Corporate share-holder greed has discovered it's limit is Antarctica? Human nature, at least in regards to greed, should have breached this topic, a long time ago. So, why hasn't it? They're hiding something massive, down there. Check this link out:
