Wow that is truly incredible. You are living the dream that I want to live. But you have already put in the massive amount of work that it takes to get there. I applaud you. I voted for you as witness - thank you for telling me about that. I had no idea there were witnesses, let alone what they do. I wish I had the kind of computing power to be a backup. Maybe I can work up to it.
The thing about Steem is it's just so vast, and it's always bigger than I ever think it is. Just reading your long post and each paragraph branches off into rooms that lead to more rooms, that lead to palaces of information. It is sometimes overwhelming. But worth it.
I can only take off my hat to you and hope that I can follow in your footsteps someday, both in what I can do for Steemit and in the freedom to leave my job.
Thank you for approving my witness. I look at your blog and I saw that you bought some Bitcoin this week. You won't regret it. I expect Bitcoin to go sideways for around 1-2 months maybe 3. The price might even go down a bit but afterward the whole crypto market should begin to go back up. It might even be a lot sooner but don't be surprise if you see some side way movement in the coming days.
Thank you - that is what I am hearing from the various people I am listening to and following. I traded penny stocks for many years, so I am used to crazy risk and volatility. In fact, I think the bigger cryptos are probably better established than some of the pennies I used to trade.
I've heard other people predict a dip in the market for the next 2-3 months. That is just fine with me. It will give the market some time to cool off and consolidate, and will shake out some of the people with the "get rich overnight" mentality and get these issues into stronger hands. It will also allow me a bit more time to raise capital to invest when there is a good entry point.
But this week I only bought .28 BTC - this I always intended to use to buy Steem and convert it to Steem Power to give myself a boost in my voting and make me more invested in the community. This is not the kind of money I would miss.
Thanks again and I look forward to learning more from you!
