Thank you @Michel for going the extra mile to answer my question. Just knowing about steemworld and all the valuable information to be found there is a plus. However, I'm using autocurate and following a trail and fanbase, but my account is losing money every day. I'm receiving a lot of votes, but a poor response. My last post which included a video only received $1.66 and I lost $12 overnight from my account. How does this happen?

The value of sbd and Steem is going down every day, so if people that are in the trail upvoted you with 5% and that gave you $0.02 for one vote, if they haven't increased their percent, the vote is probably at $0 now. I don't see how you lost $12, only downvotes could do that.
I don't know how it happened either. How could I research it? My account continues to lose money every day, instead of increasing. Could it be because I haven't written a post in 5 days? Would that have something to do with it?
Are you talking of you estimated wallet value?
If that's the case, STEEM and SBD are going down a lot, so that's why you are losing money. Not blogging for 5 days has nothing to do with it, except that you haven't earned rewards for 5 days.
Thanks Michel. So, if I understand you correctly, I m losing money because the price of steem and sbd is going down. But I pay the bots money to upvote my content and I still don't see a change. BTW I purchased one of your books from Amazon on making Wordpress load faster. Im really enjoying learning this new material. It's well worth my time to read. Thanks!
The problem is that there is a 7-day window between the time you pay the bots and receive the rewards. If the Sbd was higher 7 days ago and now the rewards are paid with a lower sbd, you lose money. It can go the other way too where Steem and Sbd go up when the rewards are paid. Maybe the whole value is going down at the moment, but using the bots should increase your SP consistantly. When the price of Steem goes up again, then you will have more. Think long term. Thank you very much @carolynseymour for buying my book on Amazon. I hope it will be useful.
