As far as I can tell it seems like the curation reward calculation is performed at end of day on votes cast by curators during that day. This doesn't make sense to me. Wouldn't it be better to perform the calculation for each vote when the post voted actually pays out? You aren't currently capturing the true curation reward received by tipu for votes, and in particular you are dramatically undervaluing the contribution of all curators who are actually finding true gems when they have low reward. Just as an example, I voted this post with tipu when it was around $1 payout, and then a day later (after already receiving payment for that curation from tipu) the same post was featured by OCD/OCDB and is at $32 payout... this is great for tipu, but my score for the day doesn't reflect it at all because the calculation was performed before the post went on to get the big upvote.
