I agree with @nmc206 always make sure you are picking the right tags, also another thing to help get more followers and more steemers to see your blog is to go to Steem.chat/, they have all kinds of different chat spaces that go with the tags, you can copy and paste your post in the chat stream, Just another way to meet more steemers. Also there are several Steemers who love to help noobies just look up what you want to know about, I suggest that you learn about the voting process as well, best advice for voting is try to upvote only about 10 times a day. My biggest advice would be to comment and make friends with other users. The more you comment the more people will react to you. And, pick your tags carefully. Since you're only able to put up to 5 tags per post, make sure you choose the right ones that people are actually searching for. You can find the different tags here on the website in the drop down menu in the upper right corner.
