Hey stoka I totally hear you and many of my followers probably dont vote so you are 100% right. Its an arbitrary number, I just really wanted to celebrate and give back to many who actually read. I was thinking about putting this post under a random tag, but I figured it would be better for everyone if we have a better reach of the people out there. I have been lucky and whales have helped me out greatly. If it werent for them I wouldnt be here. I am not nearly as big as them, but one day I would like to pass it on and help other people out. This is why I upvote almost all of the comments on my posts. I appreciate all comments even those with criticism because I think it is healthy and provides for better discussion. I appreciate your response, thanks :)

i didnt take it as such! Im sure many others share your opinion but dont speak up because they dont want a downvote.

You are not the norm. You take comments and criticism in stride. Bravo. More people need to have that attitude. After all, this is life-changing stuff we are doing in Steemit. We all want the same things,,,,,,money, power and happiness :). Well, not so much the power.
