On a serious note, great sensible post. I have myself come across numerous cases where members are openly asking for votes and 'follow-me' requests. It doesn't work here like this at all. But then, they will learn it the hard way I m sure.
Steemit is all about being genuine, being honest and ofcourse great posts that can be helpful to others, or of interest. This is a place that requires time and patience. I hope newbies are reading this comment!
