On High School prom night I skipped it and went for a 5 hour drive and had a date with myself. I drove to my favorite road in Austin to celebrate the end of something I always considered a prison of the mind and soul (school).

That's pretty epic. I love going on long, quiet drives. Such a soothing experience for the soul.
Man that is awesome sounding. Wish I didn't bother with my prom. A waste of money. I married my date though (we skipped his prom the year before which was smart).
What is so great about the road in Austin that you went to? I have never been to TX.
