My personal opinion is that, without hypocrisy, people join the steemit in order to be paid for the time they invest in the platform. Some have the natural gift of joining followers based on the quality of their content, others even producing quality content, are not able to join followers naturally, or take a long time to achieve consistent popularity with their content. This is where robots help accelerate the process of increasing popularity (followers). Those who produce low-quality content, and probably use the robots, will always be low-relevance accounts on the steemit platform, even if they move artificially high vote values and are likely to enter some blacklist soon.
