I honestly can't believe this happened so fast! It was less than a month ago where I was saying that I should reach 1000 followers by the end of the summer. Then suddenly I was thinking that I would reach it at the end of July. Then I was saying by the end of the month. Now I'm thinking we have a lot to go before the end of the month so who knows how many new followers I will get! One of the things that I have wanted since 2008 is to become a full time content creator. That has always partially alluded me and I was only able to work on content creation for short spurts. With Steemit I can see it becoming a reality!
I want to thank everyone of you for being supportive and attending the pool meetings! I figure we get a lot more accomplished in a pool meeting. Seriously who doesn't have fun at a pool?

It will happen for you pretty quick! I have been going crazy on comments and posting quite a bit. Sometimes I have been surprised how fast the followers are flowing in. Like I don't even know how they are finding my stuff sometimes but in other ways it makes sense.

Thanks! It means a lot! It is going to be hard to imagine how powerful a 10,000 person Steem Following would be. Not to get ahead of ourselves but let's just say that with that many people engaged on the platform that the price of Steem went to $10 / coin. That would mean there would be approximately $35,000 / day in the reward pool. Well with that many followers it could lead to a lot of consistency and the payouts could get pretty big / day for some people.

Hey buddy a bit off topic of this post but I know you mentioned your origionally from Indiana. I'm looking for some fun stuff to do this summer be it state parks or camping or taking a kayak trip just some stuff to get out and enjoy the weather. You have any suggestions for anything in Indiana?
In some respects Indiana doesn't have a lot to offer in the way of that to be honest in my opinion. That is why I think out west just blows the midwest away in terms of that type of stuff. But there is one place you might want to check out. It is called Turkey Run State park.
You can canoe down the river and there are a lot of fish and there is one spot you can get off and hike back in the woods and the environment completely changes almost like being in Washington or somewhere else.
I don't want to talk it up too much. I honestly think the Dunes up around lake Michigan are way cooler.
Yeah we have very little stuff like that around here. I'm always looking for a cool swimming hole or a waterfall or something and there's just very little of that around here.
Not sure if you've ever been to starved rock but I think that's why starved rock is so cool as it's one of the few places within a reasonable drive from chicago there you can feel transported into somewhere else in the country with hills and waterfalls and cliffs. other than that its mostly city or cornfields.
every september me and some friends go down to shawnee national forest down by garden of the gods and rent these secluded cabins where were the only people for miles and we can shoot off the back porch and have big fires and get loud and while cool its a good 5 or 6 hour drive from us so not something we can do every weekend.

yeah dude wow! it's crazy how things have gone with steemit, i stopped for a while there but have since made my way back around slowly but surely, keep doing what you're doing man you are killing it, catch you on the posts!
Yeah it really is crazy what happened with Steemit. I honestly thought it had about a 20% chance to survive. Things were not looking good at all. But I'm glad it is back now!
