My Upvote Service is Changing... In A Very Good Way!

It's been a while since I provided an update for the @brandonfrye upvote bot. So today I will outline some changes that will take effect immediately. And I'm sure you guys will be excited to hear what they are! So without further ado let's get into it...

Higher Delegation Payouts (90%!!)

Over the last few weeks I've been brainstorming ways to increase payouts to delegators without negatively impacting the @minnowfund initiative. It's a fine line I have to walk in order to make sure I'm rewarding my delegators (investors) as much as possible while still making the most impact with MinnowFund. But I finally found a solution that works for both the interests of the investors and MinnowFund.

Starting today, delegators will notice a slightly higher payout each day. I've upped the payouts from 85% to 90%!! This means that 90% of all the bids coming in each day for the @brandonfrye upvote bot will be paid out to those that have delegated their Steem Power to my account. This is pretty big news, especially considering that we're still going to be supporting @minnowfund. In fact, MinnowFund will now get an even larger portion of Steem Power from the upvote bot service. I'll explain that in a minute...

How Can I Delegate And Earn Passively?

If you would like to support the @minnowfund, and earn 90% of the profits in daily SBD and Steem payouts, please consider delegating to my service. Your support goes a long way here! Simply go to https://steembottracker.com/delegation.html and insert your username, click Load, add @brandonfrye as the Delegatee, and insert the amount of Steem Power you would like to delegate.

Note: I recommend delegating a minimum of 50 SP.

Bigger Support for MinnowFund

So you may be wondering, how in the heck can he pay out 90% to delegators and still grow @minnowfund? Great question! Starting this week, I will be taking the curation rewards earned by the @brandonfrye upvote bot and sending it over to the MinnowFund account.

Until now, @minnowfund has been bringing in around 28-30 SP each week from my upvote bot. And my account (@brandonfrye) is currently earning around ~40 SP each week in curation rewards. So if I take that 40 SP each week and send it over to MinnowFund then that's a pretty big increase in growth for the initiative and will allow us to help more people in a quicker amount of time!

How to Accomplish This?

By powering down my account once a month (perhaps less) I will be able to extract the curation rewards being earned from the upvote service. I will then move that Steem Power into my alternate account (@brandonfryeroi) so that I can make payments to @minnowfund each week. I will be using https://www.steemworld.org/@brandonfrye to calculate the curation SP being earned each week so I know how much to send over.

New BlackList and Updated Terms of Service

I thought it would be wise to add a section here to recap the rules of using the @brandonfrye upvote service. I do my best to ensure that my service is not used to promote spam, scams, plagiarism, cons, or the like. Not only do I monitor the bids coming into my bot, and their corresponding links, but I've now connected my bot to the @buildawhale blacklist so that known "problem accounts" cannot use my service. And all bids that come in from these accounts are rejected.

You Will Be Blacklisted And Lose Your Upvote if:

  • No effort was put into creating your post (i.e. two sentences long, a single image, etc.)
  • You take advantage of our service with multiple upvotes on the same post using threaded comments
  • You plagiarize content (including images, audio, video and text)
  • You send spam via wallets, comments, posts, etc.
  • You are caught scamming or committing fraud
  • You create (or upvote) posts that are complaining about upvote bots
  • You are already on the @buildawhale blacklist

If you're caught doing any of these things, you will lose your upvote and NOT be refunded! These bids will be paid out to the @minnowfund initiative as a donation.

We also DO NOT allow the following tags:

NSFW
steepshot
dmania

Due to the lack of effort involved, low quality, and high amount of plagiarism with these posts, we cannot promote them. But you will receive a refund if you place a bid on a post that includes any of these tags.

Please note that I'm not perfect and am capable of making a mistake. If there was a mistake on my part and your account was blacklisted, I will personally refund your account and make things right. Just reach out to me via https://steem.chat/ and we'll work it out there.

Please reach out to me and report abuse if you see it!

How to Promote Your Post & Bot Parameters

If you would like to promote your (or another person's) post then simple send a minimum bid of .10 SBD or Steem to @brandonfrye with the link to the post in the memo field. The percentage of upvote you get will be determined by the amount of your bid. For example, if two people bid during a round and one sends 1 SBD while the other sends 2 SBD, the first person will receive a 33% upvote while the second person will receive a 66% upvote.

Current Bot Parameters

Minimum Bid: .10 SBD or Steem
Minimum ROI: -10%
Max ROI: 10%
Min Post Age: 20 Minutes
Max Post Age: 3.5 Days
Allows Comments: Yes
Bot Leaves Comment: No
Automatically Refunds Invalid Bids: Yes

These parameters could be changed at anytime. I recommend viewing the @brandonfrye upvote bot on https://steembottracker.com to always have accurate bot details. You can also see the current bidding round and the recommended bid value.

Thanks for the update @brandonfrye. Everything you are doing sounds great. Keep up the great work with the #bot and @minnowfund. Let's grow this community

Thanks for the support, @kbakadave. Much appreciated!!

Awesome! I find these changes great considering I delegate to you! XD Even though I don`t qualify for your minnowfund it is great that you will have more to help newer steamers. :) I also came here really early. I saw your post when it was a minute old.

Thanks for the feedback, @awesomegames007. I've really been working hard to find a way to both increase the payouts to @minnowfund while improving payouts to delegators. And this just clicked with me this morning lol. This will allow us to impact even more people so I love it!! :)

The gift that keeps on giving!

Awesome news man, grateful that I finally 'understood' what delegation was on STEEM and could get in early to your initiative.

Can't wait to see what this will become in a year from now. Big things for everyone involved!

You’re absolutely right. This is just the beginning!! 😁

Note: I recommend delegating a minimum of 50 SP.

Care to explain this. I sadly don't have 50 SP to delegate but what will happen if i use like 20?

Yes, anything less than 50 SP (in my opinion) really isn't worth delegating just because the payout will be so low. It's better to use that to grow your account. But it's really up to each individual though. I have people that have delegated 5 SP and feel it's worth it. So to each their own. :)

I'm curious..I only have 50 SP , can I delegate all of it?

Hey @grayarty, great question. But you need to leave yourself some SP for bandwidth. I recommend using the delegation tool at www.steembottracker.com because it won't let you delegate too much. The very minimum you need to leave in your account is 15 SP.

Alright I'll check that out.. Thanks! 😊

Hello, @brandonfrye, it's like I'm still on the blacklist. I will be grateful if you can help me with that. Thank you again.

I like your ideas. I am going to buy some more STEEM or SBD with my ETH that I am mining and delegate some to you. I am also learning about the general value of my upvote being higher if I have more STEEM or STEEMPOWER. There is so much to learn here.

I have so much that I can post about and comment on. I have been reading forums for as long as they've existed and even date back to the days of the bulletin board systems (BBS) of the 80's and 90's when all there really was to do was post messages mainly.

I ended doing what I said I would do, and delegated 50 SP over to you as you suggested. I wish you well and our mutual success. All of this is very new to me and I am learning more every day.

Excellent, thanks for the support. I look forward to sending you daily payouts. Here’s to a bright future ahead!

I'm in the process of learning more about the delegation and started using the voting bots. Is there a guarantee ROI for bidders?

Yes, great question. The minimum ROI is -10%. I will update the post to include the bot parameters. Thanks!

Great update! These initiatives are great for all those involved! I have been monitoring the bots services for some time now. I have a plan to test them out this week on a post. Hopefully, it will go a long way to breakthrough.

Thanks for the feedback @newageinv. And let me know if you have any questions about using the upvote bot.

See you when I get enough sp to participate.

Looking forward to it, @umphreymcgee! :)

really you excellent ! i have followed you !

Thanks @logan1617, appreciate the support!

Did see a very slight bump in payout from my small delegation. Hopefully I can delegate some more in the future. Not using steemit regularly enough to build up my own account much but the passive money from delegating appeals to me.

90 percent has a really nice ring to it Brandon!!!!! :) thank you!!!! as @jongolson said...the GIFT...that keeps on GIVING! my steem power just keeps GROWING! :))) yeeeehawwww!

just delegated another 100sp to celebrate! cheers!!!!

Nice!! Thanks for the support @rawutah 😃

I have a question ... looked around and cannot seem to find a direct answer on this ... if a curator votes in the first 15 minutes will she share in CR. I know the full value of her upvote goes to the author, but will she still have a share in later CR?

To my understanding, they will still receive a (very) small portion, but not nearly as much as they would if they were to wait 20-30 minutes after the post is published. I'll try to find a more solid answer though of how the rewards curve works.

its great idea @ brandonfrye but sorry to say i m newbie and dont have much SP to delegate ....But hopefuly may be in future
