STEEM Chart Analysis - 24JUN17

in #steemit7 years ago

Note: I'm far from a good trader... hell, I wouldn't even say I'm above average. I rarely go with my gut (which is more often right) and have traded on emotion far too many times.

All of that being said, I took a peek at the STEEM/BTC chart today and was pretty impressed by how healthy it looks. Strong rises, followed by solid pullbacks from profit-taking; nice rhythm. It even has a heartbeat of sorts. Consistently higher-highs and higher-lows for the past three months.

Given that and the growing interest in the platform, rapid increase in accounts, and general mainstream discussions of bitcoin and blockchain technology, this again looks impressive.

I wouldn't recommend selling your spouse or children into slavery to buy more, however... unless they're cool with it.

This is a chart with 4-hour wide bars going back to mid-March, around the time the reversal from all-time lows occurred. For a larger picture with greater detail, click here.

Based on the amount of accounts that have stopped powering down, I'm rather bullish about the short, medium, and long term future of STEEM. Keep hustling folks!

Same old same old it's starting to look like.
LIKE I SAID!! TIME TO GET RID OF THE (BAD) MAN IN THE MIDDLE!!!
“Many (EXCHANGES) appeared to be Middle Men who got in to position and were there to take, screw and gauge as much as possible, some were just financial mafia skimming operations doing just enough to keep the pretence going until they collapsed. There were punishing exchange rates and processing fees too.”

Hustle is the name of the game.

Very true. Staying on top of trading and prices in crypto world is insane. There is a ton of work and time you need to put into it, and you still have to continue reading news articles each day about it. The flash crash of ETH, the spam attacks of BTC, too many things to read and understand that are very complex.

I finally stopped trying to do all that and settled in on a few different cryptos and am holding. Steem should do well though, as more and more users come here the demand will be greater for buying Steem to power up your account and get an edge. Or for advertising too, that will require people purchase Steem and use that.

Appreciate a follow, building up my base here! Pretty new :)

Just seems like a great ROI that is guaranteed by curation alone. Why not give it a try, right? Followed you!

Oh for sure! I used to type comments on reddit all the time and those bastards just make money off of anything you submit. I almost completely stopped on facebook too. Twitter is insane, you need to make hundreds of posts a week just to gain a few followers(and you make no money from doing any of it). Plus most of it is bots and spam. I like it here, I think Steemit will do well ;)

You usually get a fair substantial break out from a wedge pattern.. But who knows if its up or down :)

Let's see which side of triangle will be broken the move will have the same direction and size approx. two heights of the triangle.

I just bought some Steem Dollars with the intention to sell short and that move is looking good. Like you said concerning Steem, great rhythm!

Great post power up 😀
