I have just joined Steemit and love it! Let me give you my opinion on why Steemit will be massive and why you should get involved as much as possible!
Steemit is a social media platform and if you look at other popular platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, ect...They are HUGE (value and popularity), Steem has a ton of room to run up.
Many users of Facebook and others will start to adopt and change platforms to Steem because you get paid to contribute. Users on other platforms will start to discover they are wasting there time posting on other platforms and move other to Steem to make bank on all the content they produce.
Writers will use Steem as a source of income and connection with others.
This is the future of Social Media Platforms. Everyone that adds value, earns!

I also think steemit will succeed. I love the idea of sharing articles and videos for money. awesome concept imo.
