You're really not going to make many friends being a pushy asshole.
Why haven't I responded to you? Because I don't need to justify my flagging, like everyone else, I can do as I please.
If you push promotional bullshit to the top of trending, it's going to get flagged. If I see you at the top of trending day after day, it's going to get flagged. If you write a worthy post that deserves to be trending, consider it safe.
Now, quit hounding me, it's fucking annoying.
Its really hard to wrap my head around this. How does this post have so much interaction? Is it really more interesting for everyone to bicker and fight instead of listening to a good song, reading a nice story, a painting, giving insight about some news, bringing up to attention great creators, promoting Steem, etc. You especially Bernie. Even my cat knows who Bernie is, and she cant remember to crap in the litter box..
"Bernie said this to me, this guy said that, he used this bot, this guy used that bot".. FFS guys. Drama seems to always win on social media.
I don't consider myself a pushy asshole, I don't threat people with downvotes. You didn't downvote this post, so I guess this is something worth trending. Thanks for taking the time to reply and yes you are right, I won't get promo stuff to trending, but it should apply to everyone, not just me. 😘
Ps: You don't have many friends either, but I'm willing to be asshole friends for life 😀
To answer your question:
Nothing deserves to be on trending.
Fair enough, I like your answer. Then, what should be done?, In my opinion bid bots should be remove or an update which limited accounts with huge amounts of Steem Power. A man can hope.
Simple solution:
If people have a promotion going, they can always add banners to each blog post they publish that leads to their promotion. They would still be able to get views if someone is interested in seeing it, instead of having this stuff crammed down our throats.
People clicking that banner should generate ad revenue for the account that published the banner. The money for that should come out of the pocket of the promoter who paid to promote and paid to buy the space on the blog post. Bloggers could be selling a banner slot and earning ad revenue. For some reason these people enjoy doing everything backwards. They pay instead of earn. Doesn't make sense.
Simple stuff, everyone wins.
Agree with you 100%, and to think that this shit show can be fix with simple changes yet so effective.
Simple, yet which one of these people who's responsible for this mess wants to first admit they messed up so they can then begin making changes?
They don't have guts.
Have a good one.
Hahaha i like the way you answered him! :D
Your post is trending because you or someone else bought tons of upvotes from bots. I don't think that the fact that it's trending has any correlation to the intellectual value of your post.
100% sure that you didn't read the whole thing, but here let me make it easier for you:
Getting on Trending without bid bots or Whales friend is impossible. If you are able to get on Trending in a "natural" way, do it and I will send you 100SBD. I will be waiting.
What constitutes natural? Is it not natural when a large account upvotes you?
Big accounts only upvotes their own post and their friends' post.
What about Curie, O.C.D., dtube, dsound, blocktrades, ausbit, pharesim, pfunk, aggroed..... List goes on. Not one of them upvotes "only friends". In your criticism you take the extreme approach.
Im not saying theres no abuse, but there is decent action as well.
Is the more appropriate term "frenemies?"
