Yankari National Park, Nigeria...already in love with nature.

Yankari National Park is located in one of the 36 states in Nigeria, Bauchi State. It is a home to wild life in the state's South-Central Part. It was established as game reserve in 1956 and officially became a national park in 1951.

It houses a lot of Natural warm water springs and it is the one of west Africa most sorted. In terms of size the Park covers 870 square miles (2,254km2). The animal life found here includes Elephants, Antelopes, Hippopotamuses, Giraffes, Baboons, Lions, Leopards to mention a few. with over 500 elephants the Park serves as home to the largest population of elephants in west Africa.

If you are planning a trip to Yankari National Park, just keep looking to a list of funs like Museum tour, Wikki spring ( a man made lake that is open for swimming 24/7.It is 200 meters long and 10meters wide). The water is very much clear and retains a good temperature all year round.
