User delegating a ton of SP charging crazy amounts of SBD for it. Is this right or wrong?
300k SP > 150 SBD daily
Vesting routes... all miners.
500k SP > 1600SBD weekly. That's a lot of money.

@minnowbooster is in it too. @bellyrub. @utopian-io
Is this what we want as a community?. Almost every user using this service is doing self-vote, draining the pool and making voting circles that we think isn't good for the platform. What do you guys think?

I am not sure how I feel about the lease market. I recently leased 1000sp for 30 days from blocktrades to try it out for myself. Over all it brings money in to steemit, but voting circles definately suck.

Love the data, very informative. What could be a solution to this? Maybe increasing the power of the steemit "promotion" tool to encourage creators to use it and actually contribute to the steemit platform rather than to the big whales for votes?

I checked, and it looks like @minnowbooster (whose username you misspelled) aren't leasing power from freedom. According to the data here: http://www.steemreports.com/delegation-info/?account=freedom
AFAIK, he pulled the delegation after he-who-shall-not-be-named started making threats against MB users.
In my personal opinion, inactive whales will always look for ways to liquidate SP without powering down. And if the income flow is threatened - they just find another one.

The power was undelegated only 17 days ago.
