I'm feeling more and more like the community is at a tipping point right now, where the more recent influxes of newbies (like me!) has also spawned a corresponding increase in predatory behaviour.

Don't let your guard down on your wallet just because you're on your Steemit honeymoon. Flag proudly minnows, your content is worth much better than this...
