While the relative success of twitter may argue otherwise, some version of Steemit should be developed for the comments sections of websites and blogs. This would obviously increase the content volume on the site but it would also increase the visibility of Steemit to new users everyday. Disqus obviously comes to mind for a comment system but it's main site is not where most people go to read or create comment content. Most go to the referring site where the original content exists.
Popular sites would have to be convinced to move to a new comment system but perhaps being paid a share in Steem would be better than paying dollars to another vendor like disqus or livefyre.
Is this doable, impractical, just too difficult or already on the roadmap in the white-paper?
